Work Experience
June 2023 - present Consulting Engineer
Measurement Solutions Pvt. Ltd., HyderabadConsulting on Sensing technologies relating to Structural Health Monitoring and Flow measurement technologies
Jun 2020 - Dec 2022 Research Associate
Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Karlsruhe, GermanyWorked on the project "Hydrogen in the Gas Network", which was funded by both Government entities as well as prominent private corporations located within Germany (Daimler, Bosch etc).
Major work involved understanding the feasibility and risks involved to combustion engines in adding upto 30% H2 into CNG pipelines.
Conducted study on the changes to power, efficiency and emissions with a focus on the phenomenon of engine knocking.
Additionally surveyed the possibility of Hydrogen and HCNG storage on board.
Since mid 2022 have been working on the TransHyde Norm project, which involves generation of a database for standards relating to Hydrogen transport, with a specific focus on liquid Hydrogen.
Apr 2018 - Mar 2019 Master Thesis Student
Toyota Motorsport GmbH, Cologne, GermanyThesis title: Development of a Black-Box Model and Algorithm to Estimate Turbulent Combustion Parameters.
Conducted optimization of Engine combustion parameters using GT-Power
Generated large amounts of simulated engine data (upto 70000 individual engine parameters)
Utilized Gaussian Process regression to generate predictive functions for the necessary output conditions based on user defined engine operating conditions using ETAS-ASCMO.
Developed optimization algorithm and user-friendly GUI based on the predictive functions in MATLAB
Tested and validated results on 5 commercial and production engines and 1 concept engine from Toyota's portfolio
Developed software could theoretically streamline the engine optimization process from 3 weeks to under one week and result in cost savings upto 20000€ per engine optimized.
